[PC] Puzzle Agent 2 (2011)

How:
Got with the Humble Weekly Sale: Telltale Games.
Pros:
- Immersive, creepy atmosphere
- The amusing dialogues, funny characters and excellent writing never let the interest down
- The hand-drawn graphics and fitting music contribute to create a unique game experience
- Several scripted sequences bring about a cinematic feel to the game
- Excellent voice acting
- Compelling mystery
Cons:
- Some puzzles are extremely easy, and in general they are quite repetitive
- Too linear, the game basically tells you where to go and what to do

[PC] Da New Guys: Day of the Jackass (2012)

How:
Read about it on Gnomeslair, tried the demo an liked it. Bought it when it came out on sale with Indieroyale's The Getaway Bundle.
Pros:
- Simple, yet enthralling story
- Great characters with amusing lines of dialogue
- Voice-overs really make the characters breathe life
- Good puzzles, never gets boring
- You get to play up to 3 characters in various sections of the game
- The cartoonish style is consistent, pleasant and with smooth animations
- Music and sound effects are nice and fitting
- Amazing final action/adventure sequence in cell-shaded 3D
- Moderately long playtime
Cons:
- Buggy savestates (screenshots depicted my desktop)
- Sometimes dialogues were skipping ultra fast with a single mouse click, missed some of them

[PC] Metal Dead (2011)

How:
Read about it on Gnomeslair, and enjoyed the demo. Finally bought it with the Bundle in a Box Adventure Bundle.
Pros:
- A blackish horror comedy, full of suspense, that plays extremely well
- Rather polished, with great care for details
- Very consistent graphic style and nice animations
- Full of cutscene events and happenings
- Nice and well balanced puzzles
- Very good writing and humour, cool characters
- Probably a sequel coming up!
Cons:
- Crash when saving the game! Had to complete it in one go

[Browser] Loondon (2010)

Pros:
- Beautiful drawings
- A short and poignant interactive story

[Browser] The Fabulous Screech (2012)

Pros:
- A whimsical, dreamy, touching little story

[PC] Life of D. Duck II (2008)

How:
Having enjoyed the first game, always been curious of trying this one as well but was held back by negative reviews. At some point I remembered it and just grabbed it.

Pros:
- Fun, odd, violent at times
- Puzzles are rather fun and well balanced, somehow reminds of good old Dizzy Island
- Rather long-lived
Cons:
- Can be a bit tedious with all the traveling
- The race minigame is fun but 5 minutes are way too long!

[PC] The Strange and Somewhat Sinister Tale of the House at Desert Bridge (2009)

Pros:
- A nicely hand-drawn, odd, humorous and dreamy adventure
- Very nice and fitting music
- Incredibly good, entertaining writing
Cons:
- Puzzles are mostly of the password and recipe types
- Music doesn't loop properly
- A bit too easy to lose the bearings
- No sound effects

[PC] Barrier (2011)

Pros:
- Short, crazy and smart (e.g. give the flower to her)
- Actions change their meaning halfway
- The wacky dialogues, perhaps unintentionally, add fun to the fun
Cons:
- None that I can think of

[Browser] Tanooky Tracks (2011)

Pros:
- Drawings and music are very pleasant
Cons:
- Way too easy

[Browser] The Trader of Stories - Bell's Heart (2010)

Pro:
- Bei disegni
- Interessante la presentazione a slide
- Ambientazioni e mondo piacevoli
- Enigmi semplici ma buoni per passare il tempo
Contro:
- La musica è calzante ma ripetitiva
- Navigazione un po' alla cieca, non si capisce subito dove si può andare
- Dal punto di vista della storia, troppa carne al fuoco da subito
- Il formato browser-based in cui è presentato non rende giustizia

[PC] Ulitsa Dimitrova (2009)

Pro:
- Il protagonista è un teppistello russo
Contro:
- Corto e sconclusionato

[PC] Machinarium (2009)

Pro:
- Grafica, animazioni e musica stupende
- Enigmi e mini-game divertenti e non troppo semplici
- Storia semplice e simpatica
- Incredibile attenzione al dettaglio
Contro:
- Troppo corto
- A volte l'interfaccia è poco responsiva

[DS] Professor Layton and the Curious Village (2007)

Pro:
- Molto longevo (sulle 20 ore)
- Puzzle divertenti
- Qualche mini-game spezza la monotonia
- Ambientazione e storia interessanti
Contro:
- Qualche enigma ha poco senso o ha il testo sbagliato (prob. difetto di traduzione)
- I disegni negli enigmi hanno stili molto diversi tra loro
- Gli enigmi sono in buona parte scollegati dalla storia

[PC] A Second Face - Eye of Geltz (2008)

Pro:
- Buoni enigmi
- Storia interessante
- Buona musica
Contro:
- Qualche bug / leggerezza nell'interfaccia
- Animazioni approssimative e poco fluide
- Scomodo muoversi per la mappa
- E' possibile rimanere bloccati

[PC] Life of D. Duck (2006)

Pro:
- Simpatico e malato
Contro:
- Il troppo bianco dà agli occhi
- La musica è ripetitiva e dopo un pò da fastidio
- Cortissimo
